Today is a good day for chocolate chips in your breakfast. I'll bet you agree!
This simple breakfast is whole grain and protein packed.
Flax seed is just what it sounds, a seed. You may buy whole or ground. These seeds are high in omega-3 and are good for your heart, and they decrease inflammation. They also add crunchy bits to this recipe.
Total Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 cup dry oatmeal
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup whole flax seed
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1. Measure ingredients into a medium/large bowl.
2. Stir.
3. Form into balls. I use 1 1/2 tablespoon cookie scoop.
4. Eat immediately, or save for later. Cover within 6 hours. No need to refrigerate.
Absolutely delicious. Thanks
