I love chewy peanut butter granola bars and so have been experimenting with some recipes.
I was looking for ones with lots of protein, whole grains, and inexpensive ingredients. I adapted and tried several recipes until I came up with this one. It is kind of messy, but delicious. These are very thick -- I usually slice them into squares instead of bars.

I've been making these egg rolls for over a year now and everyone always really likes them, despite the fact that they are baked instead of deep fried.
If I want the recipe to be easier, I buy a bag of shredded cabbage. I like to pair them with microwave sweet and sour sauce.
