One of my favorite meals, this pizza really has 2 secrets: the tasty garlic Ranch sauce, and the bacon. This works either with a homemade pizza crust recipe or a store bought one.
Ingredients
One 12 inch pizza crust (and directions)
1/4 cup Ranch dressing (bottled or homemade)
2-3 cloves fresh garlic
2-3 strips bacon, cooked until crispy and then crumpled
1 teaspoon shredded spinach leaves (optional)
3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese (fresh)
2 tablespoons diced chicken, cooked
1/4 of a jalapeno, seeded and diced
Directions
1) Preheat oven according to pizza crust directions.
2) Mince or press garlic cloves and stir into the Ranch dressing.
Yes, this is the secret to really amazing sauce. Simply adding fresh garlic will give it a dynamic taste. The garlic will cook a little as the pizza bakes to release its flavor.
3) Spread the garlic Ranch sauce on the pizza crust, and top with about 1/3 of the bacon. If desired, add shredded spinach. Putting some bacon below and above the cheese is my other secret.
4) Top with cheeses, chicken, jalapeno, and remaining bacon. Bake according to pizza crust directions until cheese is melted, slightly browned, and delicious looking.
