About Me

My name is Julie V. and I am the creator of Somebody's Dinner, which began January 2014.

On this blog I share recipes to help you feed all your hungry somebodies!

I try hard to make and post healthy recipes. When my recipes don't qualify as healthy, I often take steps to subtract some of the unhealthiness of a recipe. That's one of my focuses in life and so it translates to my blog. Not all my dessert recipes are healthy, but that's okay, right?

I have several recipes that are healthy, are delicious with no milk, and that have whole wheat in them. Growing up, my dad had some milk allergies, so I always take special note of recipes that are good without milk in them.

You should also check out my featured recipes to find out what recipes other bloggers approve of too.

Here are some of my favorite recipes that I've made several times:

My family of hungry somebodies is composed of myself, my husband Jay, and our miniature dachshund Little Foot. We currently live in Northern California, but went to college in Provo, Utah, and I grew up in Southern Arizona.

My 6 siblings live in Arizona and Utah, so this blog is helpful to share my kitchen adventures with them too. My parents are serving an LDS mission in Chile, so I can't cook for them right now, but I can show them my new creations online.
Come tell me about your favorite recipes and ideas!
